My Russian doll is out of the kiln, this is how my glazes/ colours look from the selection that I chose from but I don't like how the colours have turned out. Also the two parts don't fit together well enough to make a russian doll...it looks a bit weird!
I have created pattern design tests using my russian dolls, kremin building, flowers and egg illustrations in Photoshop to develop my ideas. I will continue creating designs until I find me that I am really happy with.
Again, the same using my Russian egg from lino cutting to print onto the paper, fabrics and variety of materials within different colours of the mono- printing ink to create a repeated patterns.
Using my Russian doll lino cutting I have produced prints of my Russian doll design. Personally I am very happy with the outcome.
I have mixed the two lino prints 1 Russian doll and Russian egg to create a repeated pattern.
